Walter knew great Steaks! He
grew up on a cattle farm in rural Tennessee. There
he learned all there was to know as to which breed of cattle, selection and
cut produced the tastiest, most tender steaks. This knowledge would prove
most valuable.
Even though Walter eventually left the
country for the city, he never lost his passion for a good steak. In 1978
he decided to create a marinade which would culminate in the best steak on
the face of the earth. He toyed and tinkered with all kinds of ingredients
imaginable in search for the perfect marinade. Then…success!
At the beginning Walter's family and
many friends were the only ones to taste his delectable steaks. They all
raved over his success and urged him to "go public!" In 1981 this
is exactly what happened and a Miami Legend was born.
As the years passed with great success
in the restaurant business, it had come to our attention that many of our
customers were asking for the marinade to take home. We decided to share
our marinade and give you the opportunity to discover Walter's "Almost
Famous" Marinade for yourself.
